Lovingly Easeful

I’m starting to realize a very un-profound thing about existence: the things I love to do, are easy to do.

I didn’t enjoy what I studied in university, so I never did my homework. I hated running so I would sleep in just to avoid it and therefore my hamstrings are still loose.

I “love” yoga to death to the point I’ll lie in corpse pose forever. The same way salmon would swim upstream, against current, jump through hoops just to be at home to give birth to their offspring and die in the name of love. It is in their nature to do so, as it is in my nature to act on dharma – that which sustains the universe.

I am willing to go against the current so that I may flow freely with the Divine, jump through to Uttanasana from Downdog, just to be at home at heart, to give birth to a Happy Baby and die in the name of love.

  1. Thanks for the class(es!) Of course, I have seen fit to lift a few bits. My next blog might be called stealandteach. Or maybe grandtheftasana. And thanks for this poetic p(r)ose.
